Even if you have no first aid kit in your office desk, even if you have no first aid kit in your car, YOU NEED THIS KIT. You have seen the news, where some crazed person shows up and shoots innocent people for no apparent reason. If that should ever happen, having this Trauma Kit could SAVE THEIR LIFE. This is not a kit so you can put a bandaid on a scratch. This kit is designed specifically to keep someone from bleeding out and dying before paramedics or EMTs arrive.
This Trauma Kit is designed with all of the essentials required to stop or control bleeding. QuikClot is a chemically inert material in a mesh bag that speeds coagulation of blood, resulting in a stable clot that stops bleeding. It stops bleeding quicker than conventional methods (plain compression) and is safe to leave on the wound until more advanced medical help arrives. This kit contains one 3.5 x 3.5 in. (25g) bag of QuikClot .
Because there may be more than one wound or more than one injured person, we recommend purchasing an additional QuikClot Sport 50 gram or QuikClot Silver 50 gram to add to this kit. It is also highly recommended that you include the CPR Medic with Laerdal CPR face shield in case CPR must be given. You can put the extra items in the same kit.
