FR360 Solar/Dynamo AM/FM/NOAA Weather Radio with Auto Alert

This radio is just so cool because it does so much without being big and bulky. Plus you never have to worry if the batteries are good. It has a built in solar panel in the handle, plus it has a hand crank dynamo which charges the built in Ni-MH rechargeable battery. Plus you can use AAA batteries or the AC adapter while you still have power (adapter sold seperately).
You get AM and FM radio, plus the NOAA weather stations. This radio even has the Auto Alert function – when you set the radio to Auto Alert, you don't have to have the weather station playing (kind of boring if you're not in the middle of an emergency or disaster). It will just pop into action if an emergency comes up. There is a built in telescoping antenna provided for maximum range and reception. I live way out in a rural area with lots of hills and trees and I get great reception on this radio (and I have no cell phone reception so the radio works really well). br />
There is also a very good built in flashlight (and a blinking red light for emergency use). You can charge your cell phone via the USB port (you'll need the adapter for your model phone). This same charger will also charge your iPod, Zune or MP3 player. And if you want to share your tunes you can plug your iPod into the radio and listen to your music via the radio speakers. And there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack so you can listen to the radio or weather stations without disturbing others.
Another very handy feature is the digital alarm clock (with Snooze button).
All these great features, and this radio is only 6.5" x 6.5" x 1.75" and weighs just a pound. Anyone who sees one, wants one.
